Jayne's Junk stall at Garden World 2009

Report by Dr Sheila Jaikumar at the start of this the 8th academic year of the school:

This year we had 136 new admissions but unfortunately about130 students have left because new schools are opened in 2 surrounding villages from where they used to come here by our bus , 7 have gone to live in Rajahmundry and 18 children  of the Hostel from Nagaland and Manipur have not come back. So now as per todays strength we have 260 old and 136 new students. Out of which 24 old and 17 new (total 41) in .the hostel .We have 6 male teachers 5 lady teachers and the principal  The big bus has to make 2 trips and the small bus has to make 3 trips to bring the children. We had to call back Suresh in whose place Nani Babu was working and now he is demanding 6000 Rs.P.M. We had to increase everyone's salary because of the rise in prices . We have also constructed a blue shed in front of the bible school like we did for the school and now the children can sit there and have food sheltered from heat and rains. Both the buildings are not sufficient for the school and the class rooms are very congested. The Bible school is starting from 2nd August so cannot use the upstaires of Bible school building. We are grateful to God for the wonderful support we received from you all in UK.
We need the prayers of you dear saints to press forwards with this work."

It is with sadness that we mark the passing of
